UK and European operations…
In July 2014 MTR welcomed the announcement by Transport for London (TfL) that we had been awarded the Crossrail Train Operating Concession. The service will commence in phases from 2015 to 2019.
Since 2007 MTR and Deutsche Bahn operating as London Overground Rail Operations Limited (LOROL) have overseen the operation of Transport for London’s London Overground rail concession, now one of the most punctual and highest quality services in the UK.
Since 2009 we have also operated the Stockholm Metro, delivering significant performance and quality improvements directly as well as through a unique fleet maintenance alliance with Mantena AS of Norway.
